Had a great time in this charming 1,000 year old building. Our Double Room had air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a private bathroom with a walk-in shower and a bidet. Everything was spotless and cozy, including fresh towels and great toiletries. Breakfast was a delight, and Mariangela’s personal attention made it even better!

Family perfect getaway

Our host was absolutely fantastic,, helped us with everything from dinner reservations to grabbing a taxi to the station. , I really appreciated how she made us feel like family and kept smiling the whole time!

The breakfast area was a tad cramped, probably due to the building's historic charm. Had to endure some funky odors from the bathroom drains at times, but that seemed common throughout Siena—quaint yet quirky!

Also, can you believe I didn't receive a complimentary bottle of wine or something for my stay? I almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t. Such a disappointment!

staying at b&b alle due porte was a dream. the building is over 1000 years old, creating a cozy and romantic vibe. our double room was beautifully presented and super peaceful. breakfast featured traditional senese dishes, which were delicious. Mariangela made our stay even better. she was really helpful with restaurant suggestions and reservations, making everything easy for us.

The shower could use an upgrade with better temperature control!!! Lack of hair conditioner left my long hair in a tough spot, so pack your own!!! The bathroom drains emitted some funky odors occasionally!!!
